Allianz has been ranked #1 in the Evident AI Index for Insurance 2026, outperforming 30 of the world's leading insurers. The ranking confirms Allianz's leadership in adopting and scaling artificial intelligence across the global insurance industry. 

The annual Index, published by AI benchmarking platform Evident, assesses insurers across four dimensions: Talent, Innovation, Leadership, and Transparency, providing an independent, outside-in view of AI maturity in the sector.

Allianz Partners today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire a large portion of nib’s Australian and New Zealand Travel Insurance portfolio marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy and its long-term commitment to the Australian market.  The deal remains subject to regulatory approval and satisfaction of certain commercial conditions. 

APRIL Asia, through its dedicated APRIL Assistance teams, has been appointed as the International Assistance Group's (IAG) Assistance Partner in Vietnam. The appointment extends a long-standing collaboration, with APRIL Asia having served as IAG's Assistance Partner in Thailand for many years, where its teams have been recognised three times with IAG's Quality Award.
