William Russell Launches Elevate, New Complimentary Benefits for Global Members and Businesses

Expatriate healthcare insurance provider William Russell has announced it will provide a range of new complimentary digital services to all members, including employees of group clients.
Named Elevate, William Russell’s benefits package includes four services, shaped by broker feedback and market insights, ensuring we’ve partnered with the right providers to support our members’ health, well-being, and safety.
Elevate is exclusive to William Russell and will be delivered across four service categories – Health, Mind, Well-being and Safety – allowing members to enjoy a host of intuitive benefits.
William Russell recognises that people are more health conscious and expect more value from their health and life insurance products. Elevate will give its members the confidence to make the most of their life overseas, and to help them live fearlessly and free – not just when it’s time to make a claim.
From 1 January 2026, Elevate will be included as standard and complimentary with all William Russell insurance policies, including International Health, Life and Income Protection policies, and across all tiers of membership, including group and family policies. Elevate will be available from existing policyholders’ next renewal date in 2026, and to all new policyholders immediately.

Health
My Global Doctor from Teladoc Health, enables members to book a video or phone consultation with a physician when most convenient for the patient. During the consultation, the doctor will quickly understand the patient’s needs and offer advice, guidance, and personalised support. This may also involve issuing referrals, sick notes and prescriptions, subject to healthcare regulation.
Mind
Members will have 24/7 access to confidential counselling sessions via TELUS Health Engage – a personalised well-being platform designed for both employees and individual members to build healthier habits through comprehensive well-being support. Whether they want to work out a particular problem in their life, their career, or their relationship, or just want someone to talk to - they’re never far from the help they need.
Well-being
With the intuitive TELUS Health Engage platform, members can set personal goals, link their wearables to track progress, and stay motivated to reach their well-being goals. The platform’s rewards program—featuring exclusive discounts and prizes—helps turn healthy habits into lasting ones, making every step toward better health more rewarding.
Safety
Solace Secure from Solace Global helps members stay one step ahead with global intelligence, 24/7 monitoring and alerts, plus practical guidance on local healthcare, cultural do’s and don’ts, and key emergency contacts when they need them most.
Together, these services mean William Russell members can access healthcare, well-being and security services at their fingertips from anywhere in the world.
For brokers, Elevate creates a stronger value proposition for expat clients, differentiating William Russell policies through comprehensive support that goes far beyond traditional international insurance.
Elevate offers a pioneering rewards-based well-being programme – a first in the IPMI and protection market – that provides a holistic experience for all customers, as opposed to normally only being included for employees covered on a group policy. For health members who may have chosen a policy with no or low outpatient limit or no mental health coverage, access to the My Global Doctor telemedicine and TELUS Health Engage counselling services can bring even more value to their plan.
William Russell will converse with brokers regarding the proposition, with training provided to ensure Elevate benefits can be communicated to clients.
William Russell will also communicate directly with new and existing members to guide them through Elevate benefits. Members will receive welcome communications with all the details they need to access their Elevate applications and log in to their new accounts at the start of their next policy.
